Renew North East

Renew North East is a registered charity that specialise in recycling and refurbishing electrical appliances for resale to the public/trade at greatly reduced prices. The revenue gained from the resale allows for the development of varied training programmes for our technicians. 

Trainees receive practical work experience, which enable them to obtain NVQ qualifications and increase their likelihood of gaining full time employment upon completion of the course.

Originally, Renew solely concentrated on refurbishing large electrical appliances such as washing machines, tumble dryers, cookers and refrigeration including makes such as Hoover, Hotpoint and Zanussi. However, due to popular demand and the need for advanced training for the technicians, Renew has increased it's service to include the resale of small electrical items such as hairdressing equipment, kettles, irons, toasters, vacuums, sunbed's, deep fat fryers, juicers, food processors etc.  Every item sold has a six month guarantee and is of exceptionally high quality thus, making Renew stand out from other providers.
